We are proud of the relationship we create with our Clients and most importantly the attention to details. Provided below are a few Client and Counselor testimonials.
Even though I have not used since June 2007. Gateway has really helped me through everything. They have been lifesaving and Angela Malone is a great person to help you with your recovery. Thank you again.
I was really helped by Gateway and their staff. They are lifesavers.
Groups are encouraging and I look forward to them on a regular basis. Mr. Tarver is very helpful and definitely not an enabler. I have learned alot thus far and I was closer to dependence on alcohol than I really thought. I do believe that I caught this in time to save my family.
Gateway Connect staff was really helpful. I called them on Sunday and they answered the phone on the third ring. I was given respect and my needs were met.
“I really learned a lot about alcohol and drugs in my intervention class. The effects and long/short term health problems that may occur with continual use. I was able to express myself freely without the fear of having others stare and judge me. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.”
“From my first phone call I have been spoken to and treated kindly and with respect. I have never felt uncomfortable in my dealings with the staff or any requests. I would say everyone has been accommodating and polite. The treatment manual was easy to understand and very user friendly”
“I was very pleased with the phone therapy. Group was very helpful and I was able to start a new job because I did not have the restriction of having to come in for treatment.”

"In the last few months I have had to face things that I never wanted to face before in my life. Without your help and guidance, that would have never been possible. Gateway Connect has been a life saver and my counselor has been there for me. There is a lot I could say about Gateway Connect, however, I would just like to say thank you for showing me a new way to live and look at things. If it weren''t for you, who knows where I would be right now, assuming I were alive, that is. I have a great amount of gratitude and the utmost respect for the kindness you have shown me and my family. -Anonymous Client
"When my daughter entered treatment through Gateway Connect, I thought that she failed before she had the ability to begin. I was apprehensive about e-therapy. I didn''t realize how much the pain and trauma in my relationship with her had affected my own life and emotional health. "I phoned one of the counselors on a Sunday evening and the counselor suggested that I attend Al-anon meetings. I didn''t know what good it would do, but I took her advice. After just two months of attending, so much healing has happened in my life that it''s like a breath of fresh air! "I started attending Al-anon meetings in the middle of my daughter''s treatment, but should have begun sooner. If there''s anything I''d like people to know who might have a loved one going through treatment right now is that they should start attending Al-anon meetings the first week their loved one enters treatment. That way, they can begin their own healing process right away." -Mother of a daughter actively in recover
"All services are designed to minimal disruption to an individual’s work, school and family life. Depending on the population, treatment is provided during the day, after-school or in the evening. When I was first informed of this, I was not really sold, but all of my sessions were provided around my work schedule. I am not in jeopardy of losing my job and now heavily involved with AA/ Gateway Connect has been a huge blessing for me and my family." -A happily employed alcohol free client. |
