Dr. Shuler serves as Vice President of Clinical Services. She joined Gateway in 2001 and has more than nine years of management experience. A Certified Mental Health Professional, Dr. Shuler believes that all clients are unique individuals who hold the ability to lead successful, fulfilling lives. Recovery from years of drug and alcohol abuse requires time. Clients must create new support systems, learn to live in a drug or alcohol free world, and gain a true sense of the possibilities the future holds for them. Dr. Shuler and the Gateway Connect family favor an approach that supports the individual and family throughout each stage of the treatment and recovery process. 

Dr. Shuler earned her Bachelors degree in Criminology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and both her Masters and Doctorate degrees Psychology from Truth College and Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida.
